Devastation in Japan....
I'm praying for everyone affected by this terrible event. Not that the earthquake and following tsunami was bad enough, now they are dealing with radiation from the damaged nuclear power plants.
In effect, we are all dealing with the nuclear question....once again. Will we stop thinking about it when those places in Japan are rebuilt, or will our governments rethink it all? I doubt it.
We need to rethink our energy policies. Why don't our governments spend more on researching "alternative" energies? Wind power and solar power, power from water? They shouldn't be "alternative", they should be what we invest in. C'mon people, the cost of energy is increasing anyway and cheap power that comes from the nuke plants is just costing us way too much in the long run....don't we want our future generations to be able to enjoy this beautiful world?
I've got way too many questions and absolutely no answers.
