We were at the start of a trip that would take us more than 7000 kilometers westwards and north. Lots of impressions along the way, shared memories that will last us a lifetime! Even though I was dreading the drive before we set out for it, I am so thankful we were able to do it. We were able to see so many things and places that many people never get a chance to see. We were able to spend time together as a family. Time that we just don't have in the day-to-day. I am truly thankful for it and also thankful to my husband who drove the whole way. Not that I can't drive, in fact I love driving most of the time, but I was being "zickig" (that's a German word, you'll just have to figure out for yourself...it definately doesn't mean silly like google would have you think....one hint...starts with a "b").
So thankful also to be able to see our family that was waiting for us in far off Northwest Washington. It was a trip that we will never forget for a lot of reasons. What I'm posting here are some impressions of our trip, in pictures and sometimes words. I hope you enjoy them.
