Imprisonment you'll find
Lies within your heart, your soul, your spirit and your mind
~ Blackmore's Night ~

Well again no pics here, I'm out of oomph as they say. But I did want to update a little.

Hope to capture at least some images during the coming weekend.  Last weekend I actually took some time with hubby and went shopping for some new biker pants and guess what? I have to mention this because it is almost like a small miracle.....I fit into a size "small", hey those who know me will want to give me a big pat on the back...yes sir a size small! I definately can't gain any weight now (means I ain't eating much) because then the pants won't fit anymore...but hey a size "small"! I can't wait to try these out....2 more weeks. If you knew what I went through last year trying to find a pair that fit well, you would understand my euphoric yelping.  I ended up sewing the only short pants I found and it's no fun to sew a pair of 3 layered pants, let me tell you!  So all that walking and saying no to great chocolate cake is paying off. All good things take time and patience!

Mom is getting her teeth done today and Sis will be with her....hoping everything will go good for her and not too much pain. She's been waiting for years to get this done, and now she's taking the big step.....yeah Mom...I'm so proud to be your daughter....your an amazing Mutti and I love you!

Saw a quote on a favorite blog http://www.abeachcottage.com/my_weblog/ I like to visit, (btw, Sarah is such an inspiration in budget friendly simplicity and creativeness) Hope she doesn't mind me sharing this quote here, but when I saw it, it spoke to my heart. I printed it out and put it near my desk...it has actually been my life motto without me realizing it and so I printed it out to remind me about it every day:

"Do what you can, where you are, with what you have." Theodore Roosevelt

This quote is so true for all aspects of life. Be it about what you are doing at home, work or with family.
Think about it, wouldn't life be much simpler if we didn't worry about all those things we can't do?
It helps to keep things in perspective. Sometimes the little green envy bug can come around or the mean old pitty party-pants shows up and I can get frustrated with what I have or don't have, but the above keeps it all in perspective and let's me relax in knowing that if I'm doing what I can, with what I have then I'm doing my best.

I've always lived by that motto and I've added onto that: Don't worry about those things you can't do, pray about them and put them in Gods hands and make sure you do what you can. (Sis opened my eyes to that...with all the stuff she's been through, believe me, she knows what she's talking about)

Since I come from a long line of worriers, I do have to remind myself that I'm not strong enough to worry about all the things that could happen, I can only do the things I can and those I try to do the best I can....
hope that makes sense, it does for me at least.

Well, gotta run
