Oh let's see, not much going on around the house because I'm rarely here anymore.
My son called me at work today and asked when am I coming home..."not now Son, it'll be another hour at least...why, are you lonely?"...and guess what answer I got from my 16 year old? "Yes". That just makes my heart melt, even my 16 year old still needs me....I'm blessed, I'm loved, lot's of things to be thankful for!
So I make a note to myself...don't "Bit..." so much! Well, here's just a litte rant...
It is -13°C here! Yes, that's a minus before the 13.... (that's about 9°F) Can you believe it? There should be tulips starting to sprout outside, but no, we are blanketed in snow! Nothing left to do, but daydream about what I'd like to be doing and what I'm looking forward to:
- Getting my fingers dirty out in the flower bed
- Having a nice warm cup of coffee while sitting out on the terrace
- Stop wearing socks
- Leaving our windows open
- Biking season
and so much more! Can you tell, I'm not a Winter gal? I mean, every season has it's beauty and it's own charm...but enough already!

It's been a long, hard winter for you, I think! We had a wonderful week of open windows (and even doors) down here before the snow returned, so even though it does seem unfair to be frozen again, at least we have had a taste of spring. It will come, and won't we all appreciate it!

ReplyDeleteWe had one day 2 weeks ago where it almost seemed like spring, everyone around here was busy working in their gardens and then it snowed, how weird. Today, even though still cold, there was a slight hint of spring in the air...just a very faint whisper of it.
