Where on earth has the time gone? It's the middle of Feb. and about a month has gone by since I posted last. My posts are starting to sound familiar, no time for this, no time for that. But that friends, is the sad truth right now. Our back terrace and yard are still covered in snow, I have not been down there in at least 2 months. Well I did check once to make sure Archie hasn't left any small animals lying around there. I know that sounds wierd, but that is just the way cats are. I found a dead squirrel there one day and buried it next to my compost, poor squirrel (I hope it wasn't a mommy).
Today is Valentines day and we have nothing really special planned, but after I finish writing here, we are going to go out for a little winter walk. Try to enjoy the rest of Sunday and fuel up some energy for the coming week. Tommorow is already planned to the full, after work I'm taking Archie to the vet again, as he got into another cat fight and had to get antibiotics for an infected wound. He's going nuts around here because we are not letting him outside. I'm going to ask the vet if I can get a monthly subscription for cat antibiotics! Our cat just likes to get into it with every other cat in town.
Well friends, hope you are all keeping warm and for those living in sunnier hemispheres...I'm really jealous, but I at least have something to hope for because spring is on it's way, might take a little longer this year, but it's coming ... of that I'm sure. Happy V-day!

P.S. See the old Christmas tree lying on the terrace, yes, it's been there for awhile. I'm waiting for the snow to subside so I can finally get rid of it.
Don't even worry about the Christmas tree on the terrace. We just got our Christmas weaths off our front gate last week. I felt accomplished though - my goal was to get them down by Valentines Day!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend (do you still have all that snow?????)

Yep, we still have some snow! I say enough already, but you can't argue with the weather, its fruitless!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Texas I always thought it was neat the way some people put wreaths on their car grills!? Do they still do that?
BTW, thanks for the comment! Not too many folks find their way here, but I'm glad you did!
