In this respect, it's hard to think of having to get out back to work and the old rat race but ya gotta do what ya gotta do I suppose. So we are starting the week slowly, Chris went back to school today but didn't have to be there till 10 o'clock, hubby will be starting again tomorrow and I, hopefully can enjoy a few more days off and finally start deep cleaning around here and sorting things out. I'm determined to do a yard sale this spring...we've got plenty of unused stuff around here. Yard sales are not typical for Germany, but lugging everything to a flea market doesn't sound like fun either, especially at the prospect of having to lug it all back home! So I'm going to have to figure out if I should do the sale in the front or the back, both areas are well traveled by people walking into town. I don't want people walking all over my new grass, so I'll probably do it out front. I'll keep ya'll posted on this yard sale thing....you know once I start working again, things may look differently and I'll end up dragging all the stuff to the thrift shop and donating it!
I've got so many ideas swirling around in my head ... I want to do more creative things ...
but the main objective to begin with is organizing the basement, so we have more space for storage and room to work. Hubby's been hard at work down there putting up shelves and moving around his many tools and equipment. Every time I go down there I'm thinking boy, do we have a lot of stuff! Kind of overwhelming really. It's not that we are hoarders, but you know how it is, things just accrue! I'm finally at the point where I don't even enjoy looking at the catalogs that fly into the house anymore because it's all just "stuff" that accrues! My aim this year ... try to be more creative with the things I have before I go out and buy anything new.
Cheers and happy snow days!
I believe in hybernation. Thats my line! Hehe
