It promises to be a blue jean weekend

Things have been strange around here the past few weeks and I haven't been in the mood for posting, just surfing my favorite blogs and reading everyone else's updates. I thought I'd write up a list of things I plan to do this weekend and on Monday I'll see if I indeed have done half of them!

1) Get a going away present for KD so it will remind him that he has family thinking of him when he is in Texas. Print out a map of where my Dad is resting in peace because he said he'd like to visit where we used to live and maybe I can talk him into getting some flowers for the grave.

2) ET reserved a trailer for tomorrow, so we can haul some big old rocks for our garden. Yep, it will be one of those long hard working days, but ever so satisfying when bedtime rolls around. Hope it doesn't rain too much, because the trailer is rented, period.

3) Make reservations to go out to eat on Saturday night. We got a gift coupon for a restaraunt from Josh and haven't taken time off to do that yet, the coupon is from my last birthday (hint, I'm a virgo) aren't I fast?

4) Iron the new curtains for the living room and put those babies up.

5) Sunday I hopefully get to watch my kid in a skateboard video. His friends are having a showing Sat. night and maybe they'll post it to youtube. I'll post a link if they do.

6) If the weather allows I'll have my hubby take me motorbike riding ... his new hobby.
