This weekend, spring arrived with a bang! The pic above was taken just a few yards from our house, this tree is overflowing with pink blossoms. Set off by the blue sky in the backround, I just couldn't resist taking a picture.

If only everything were as easy as enjoying a spring day. Went to work this morning and found out that our company is planning to let go 25% of the work force. Who will be hit by this, I don't know...but if I suddenly have a lot of time for blogging you will be the first to know!
Seriously, I've been with the company for 18 years now and always figured that if I were to leave, it would be because I wanted to and not because someone else thought it would be good for me to go. So now we are all sitting in limbo waiting for more news. Nothing is final yet though, so I don't want to paint everything black, on the contrary, I'm making it a point to stay positive about things and take an example from nature. Just looking at the tree above gives me hope and the promise of a bright future.
