For anyone who hasn't been to one of their famous castle concerts, this is the time to go! If you enjoy medieval flair mixed with a little rock guitar, this band is a must see. I've been a fan of Ritchie Blackmore since I was 14 years old, this man can make his guitar sing! He and his beautiful wife Candice, who has excellent song-writing and singing talent, make Blackmore's Night what it is ... but they also have outstanding instrumentalists in their band, of whom Bard David has a very operetic voice!
If you know me then you know that I love visiting medieval towns and castles. It's good for my soul and imagination! Luckily the people at Blackmore's Night feel the same way and so sometimes when the sky is dark blue and the moon is violet we get a chance to meet.
Hubby and I have been to see them every year since almost the beginning of their band, it has become sort of like a tradition for us. I usually don't plug, but with this band I'm making an exception. They'll be playing in some of these castles and concert halls:
Plassenburg in Kulmbach
Kloster Hirsau in Calw (near Stuttgart)
Creuzburg
Burg Linn in Krefeldamong others.
